Cyndi and Jon’s Esate Plan

Cyndi and Jon had just brought their first-born child, Jennifer, home in 2008 when Jon’s National Guard unit was called upon to head into Iraq. Knowing that Jon would be at risk while serving overseas they quickly put an Estate Plan into place to protect Cyndi and Jennifer if anything were to happen to Jon. Fortunately, Jon returned in 2010 unharmed and life settled back into the normal rhythm of life. However, on her way to work one day, Cyndi’s car was struck by a bus while traveling on the freeway in stop - go traffic. Cyndi’s car was totalled and she was rushed to the hospital……. Fortunately, the Estate Plan they had put in place when Jen had first come home year’s ago would still have applied had the worst happened.
